  • Co-Founder and Co-CEO

    Diwakar Gandhi, an alumnus of the University of British Columbia and the University of Birmingham, has dedicated 15 years to guiding thousands of international students.

    His passion for education's transformative power drives his efforts at the Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA). Diwakar emphasizes industry connections, skill-based learning, teamwork, and critical analysis, ensuring students are well-prepared for competitive careers. He believes CEA's success hinges on graduates' success, crafting a curriculum that prioritizes student needs and career readiness.

    Peter Walsh’s diverse upbringing across North America, Europe, and the Middle East inspired his passion for creating global products. His entertainment industry career includes work with Electronic Arts, Microsoft Game Studios, and Sony. Peter's success led him to write influential game development books, steering him towards education. At CEA, he leverages his industry and educational experience to provide students with essential tools and connections. Peter emphasizes innovation, ensuring students are prepared for the constantly evolving industry.

  • Chief Operating Officer

    Mabelle Sawaqed is a seasoned expert in international business development and market entry strategies with 15 years dedicated to expanding businesses worldwide. Prior to joining the CEA, Mabelle held the position of Senior Trade Officer (Education) and Regional Education Officer based at the Embassy of Canada in the United Arab Emirates for nine years, as part of Global Affairs Canada. Mabelle’s mandate included assisting and supporting Canadian education institutions to enter the UAE and MENA markets, import education services and curricula, and develop meaningful partnerships that can leverage on Canadian capability in education. Prior to her role at the Embassy of Canada, Mabelle worked for a private equity firm as Business Development Manager and led a team of 15 in conducting analysis of new projects and execution of acquisitions. Mabelle currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Centre of Entertainment Arts and is responsible for operationalizing new launches, managing existing international campuses/centres, and expanding all international business development initiatives. Mabelle contributes immensely to the CEA Leadership team through her diverse experience in working with government entities and private companies, her depth of knowledge in the MENA region education and arts sectors, and her network of key stakeholders. In 2023, Mabelle was also named “Woman Business Leader of the Year”, by Women Entrepreneur Magazine and her story of vision, ambition, and resilience was showcased in the article.development initiatives. Her extensive experience with government and private sectors, and her recognition as "Woman Business Leader of the Year," underscore her impactful leadership.

  • Chief Marketing Officer

    Matthew Holdenried, with extensive experience in Creative Video Editorial, has enhanced gaming experiences for clients like Electronic Arts, Warner Bros, and Square Enix. Specializing in Project Supervision and Direction, he believes in the transformative power of knowledge. In 2019, he joined Diwakar Gandhi and Peter Walsh at the Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA), creating innovative marketing strategies. Matthew views content as a strategic asset to connect with students, partners, and mentors, amplifying CEA's brand and showcasing the transformative power of education.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Felix, a CPA, CGA, brings extensive experience in finance and accounting to the Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA). He oversees financial management, planning, reporting, and strategic direction. Felix's professional acumen ensures CEA's financial health and supports its mission. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding and spending time with his nieces and nephews, reflecting his commitment to both personal and professional balance.

Michael Bradbury

  • CEA's Director of Education and the first Unreal Authorized Instructor in the UAE. With a BSc Hons in Game Design, PGCE, NPQSL, MA in Education, and currently pursuing a PhD in Digital Transformational Education, he is a seasoned expert. Michael collaborates with industry leaders and UAE governmental departments to grow Dubai's gaming ecosystem. His visionary work includes extensive Unreal Engine training sessions, shaping the future of gaming education in the region.

Priyank Murarka

  • Priyank, CEA's Visual Effects Program Director, is dedicated to shaping the future of VFX through cutting-edge education and mentorship. With over a decade of industry experience from artist roles to senior production management, he designs future-focused curricula that bridge technical excellence and artistic storytelling. Priyank's teaching emphasizes real-world skills from global blockbusters and acclaimed series. Committed to student success, he fosters industry readiness through guest workshops, exposure to innovative practices, and career development opportunities.

Subhadarshi Tripathy

  • Subhadarshi, a media and entertainment executive with over 20 years of experience, excels in creating and implementing content platforms for global audiences. He leverages trend analysis and collaborates with skilled production teams to drive high-value projects. His accolades include the Prix Jeunesse, Best Talk Show Award at the Asian Television Awards, and lead animator for India’s first animated feature film. His animated short film, Another Reminder, was recognized at the Hiroshima & Mumbai International Film Festivals.
